This cake was the product with which we launched Sapori Dimenticati. It comes from the Piedmontese tradition, using Tonda Gentile Trilobata hazelnuts from the upper Langa area, however, ours is unique in the sense that it is made without flour, without butter, without preservatives, without rum to prolong its life and then, the most important one, a hazelnut share of up to 60%!
The result is a cake that is soft and nutty as it should be but also dense and robust.
Enjoyment
Good both for breakfast served with a hazelnut cream and a good coffee and after the meal served with an eggnog and a glass of Moscato d'Asti as dessert.
storage
The cake stays fresh for 5 months when kept in vacuum packaging in a cool, dry place.
From the moment of opening, it is recommended to eat it within 10 days, keeping it in a cake stand.
